Laser Technology
At Cascade Pacific Woodworks, our laser machine is a tool of precision and intricacy, bringing a special touch to our craft. The laser acts as a super-precise artist's brush, etching beautiful designs and personal touches onto wood like it's second nature. Not only does our blue diode laser work on wood, but it will also engrave on leather, steel, a variety of textiles, and plastics.
Perhaps the greatest asset of the laser is that it is a fully integrated component of our large format CNC machine. While most laser machines are small format of 2-3 feet, our laser machine is large format, 5 feet by 10 feet, and can engrave on 3 dimensional pieces that we carve on the CNC. Once we carve out a piece, we can come right back with the laser to engrave the surface precisely.
