Design and Rendering

In house services to make your experience more seamless and wholistic

Every high-end workpiece or renovation begins long before the first board is cut. It begins with clarity, function, and a deep understanding of how you and your family move through your space. We’ve all heard the stories - or perhaps had the experience ourselves - of investing hard-earned money and precious time into a renovation project, only to feel "off" about the final result. At Cascade Pacific Woodworks, our journey has led us to a process that removes that uncertainty almost entirely.

Our design and rendering services are the bridge between a dream and a functional reality. It’s an invitation to "test drive" your kitchen before it exists and feel the same confidence as we do before the first grain of wood is selected.

Working with Toby on our project was a great experience. From the initial phone conversation on design concepts, to the finished product, the process was seamless and exciting to be a part of.

A wooden plaque with engraved text reading 'Registry of Company Chiefs' at the top. It features a chart with columns of empty boxes, each topped by a flag representing different states or territories. At the bottom, there is a seal with an eagle, anchor, and rope, labeled 'United States Coast Guard Academy, Company Chief'. The plaque measures 48 inches in height and 33 inches in width and includes a small label in the top left corner.

Upon request of the client, we can product conceptual and construction drawings for their review, approval, and historical records. We also invested in the most powerful rendering software, to bring designs to life with photorealistic rendering capabilities, allowing the client to see what their project will look like, before a piece of wood is ever cut

Before we talk about materials, we focus on your daily rhythm. We ask the questions that help to define your vision for the "heart of the home":

  • How do you use your kitchen? Who does what; what is your daily routine; what role does your kitchen play when hosting special events?

  • What are your critical functions in the kitchen? How do you like to cook, bake, or do prep work; how could meal prep, serving, cleanup, and storage be streamlined?

  • What is your optimal layout to maximize efficiency and flow? Where is the dishwasher in relation to the dish storage; the sink in relation to the garbage and dishwasher; the stove in relation to pots, pans, utensils and spices?

The result of this meticulous planning process is a custom design rendering of your dream kitchen. This isn’t just a flat, black-and-white drawing. It is a detailed 3D model that allows you to see and "feel" the space. The beauty of this process is the freedom it gives you to be creative. You can continue to experiment with woods, tiles, stones, textures, finishes, hardware, and styles until the plan is perfectly matched to your vision.

Ultimately, your finalized design rendering provides peace of mind on your investment. It allows you to “see” your completed kitchen renovation before we even step into the workshop
