2025 in Review: A Year of Craftsmanship, Custom Builds, and Big Milestones
At Cascade Pacific Woodworks, 2025 was a year of bold ideas, beautiful builds, and a deepened commitment to heirloom-quality craftsmanship. From beginning the build-out of our new kitchen and dining showroom to expanding our portfolio of luxury cabinetry, furniture, and keepsake shadowboxes, this past year has been full of meaningful growth.
A Showroom Kitchen Built to Inspire
Perhaps the biggest milestone of the year: we put into action the longtime dream to design and build of our showroom kitchen—a fully functional space that doesn’t just display our work, it works like a real home. Every cabinet, drawer pull, dovetail joint, and finish is being hand-built to showcase what’s possible when design and craftsmanship meet.
This space now serves as both a portfolio and a gathering place—where ideas are shared, wood species are selected, and design concepts come to life. Whether you're visiting to brainstorm a future project or simply to see what high-end cabinetry feels like in person, we invite you to explore.
The Rise of Custom Shadowboxes
Our custom shadowboxes continued to gain popularity in 2025—particularly as meaningful gifts for milestones, retirements, and memorials. Designed in collaboration with each client, these pieces are more than just display cases—they are handcrafted heirlooms that preserve personal stories in beautiful form.
From military insignia and family keepsakes to wedding mementos and service medals, we were honored to create pieces that reflect the uniqueness of every life they celebrate. Demand for holiday delivery hit an all-time high this year, and we’re already seeing bookings into 2026.
Luxury Cabinetry, Furniture, and Built-Ins: Beyond the Kitchen
While kitchens remain a cornerstone of our work, 2025 marked a shift toward more whole-home woodworking. We expanded into custom media centers, bar builds, home offices, libraries, and mudroom storage—helping clients bring cohesion and function to every corner of their home.
We also introduced new blog resources and consultations to help homeowners choose the right wood species, navigate design decisions, and envision cabinetry that goes far beyond a traditional kitchen install. It’s been incredibly rewarding to help clients see what’s possible—whether through custom pantry storage, wine cellars, or a bespoke walnut credenza.
A Note of Gratitude
None of this would be possible without you—our clients, collaborators, and community. Your vision inspires our work. Your support makes it all possible. And your trust is the reason we continue to grow, evolve, and pursue excellence.
We’re especially grateful for those of you who’ve chosen to book well in advance—our 2026 schedule is already filling with exciting new projects.
Whether you worked with us this year or are just beginning to dream up your next custom piece, thank you for making 2025 our most fulfilling year yet.
Here’s to what’s next.
Warmly,
Tobias Olsen
