Although we have a west coast sounding name, we are located in the coastal Connecticut town of Waterford. We are a family owned and run small business; design and shop operations are led by our primary craftsman, Tobias Olsen.

Our shop is both traditional and innovative. Generations of traditional craft techniques are used in our shop each day. We also leverage technology to design and create the most beautiful and exceptionally constructed pieces available. We use only the best materials: woods, resins, finishes, and hardware - no exceptions.

Every piece we make is a one-of-a-kind, to exacting standards meeting or exceeding the visions of our clients. Toby takes great care to have a collaborative and constant communication channel with clients to ensure everything is straightforward and open.

We care about our community, and our planet; our shop is a net zero facility - we self-generate all the power used in the shop. Over 90% of the wood we use in our work comes from trees that were felled for reasons such as disease, or storm damage. We do not support supply chains that derive their wood from unsustainable sources such as deforestation or community exploitation.
